Washington DC, is home to various sought-after, famous landmarks and attractions, with various rich places for amazing shopping, feasting and sightseeing. Many of the city’s luxurious accommodations are located in the popularly visited areas such as the Downtown districts, and the neighbourhoods of Georgetown, Capitol Hill, and many more.

Downtown plays host to numerous Washington luxury hotels, such as the Luxury Hotel Monaco, Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square, and many others. The Upper Northwest neighbourhood also offers some splendid shopping, especially in Friendship Heights.

Located in the Upper Northwest area is the magnificent National Cathedral, the sixth largest cathedral in the world, with its impressive gothic build. There is also the National Zoo, also considered one of the world’s best, with a collection of 400 species of animals.
