Lingmoor is a traditional lakeland stone house with a slate roof built in 1854 by and for the local railway company that arrived in Windermere at that time. Windermere provides excellent bars, restaurants and local shops and a 20 minute walk will bring you to the lake where boats can be hired or a lake cruise taken, giving you time to relax and enjoy the outstanding scenery. Accommodation is available throughout the year with discounts offered for stays of three nights or longer. Each of the 5 bedrooms are all tastefully furnished and decorated offering a pleasant and comfortable stay, the perfect base for your Lake District holiday.
